A dream wedding, everything was perfect

The title of this review sums up our wedding, and it’s thanks in part to Villa PortoVerde in Foiano della Chiana. I’d learned about this venue thanks to a dinner they’d organized there, so we contacted the owner, Fabrizio, to evaluate it for our wedding. We immediately found him kind and helpful, so we had no hesitation, and today we’re truly happy. The villa was super tidy and clean. Despite its simplicity, it remains extremely elegant. The garden is very large and allowed us to have a wonderful aperitif. The covered structure allowed us to eat comfortably. All our guests complimented us. A beautiful place that gave us some wonderful moments!

The Ideal Place for a Wedding

We chose Villa Porto Verde as the venue for our wedding on September 6, 2025. We must say it was a truly excellent choice. The villa was meticulously designed down to the smallest detail, taking on an even more magical atmosphere as evening falls. The play of light in the garden, the pool, everything was meticulously crafted, from the lawn to the statues and fountains. It was ideal for a summer wedding. We dined in the (very large) outdoor marquee and took advantage of the enormous garden to dance and party all night. It has ample parking for our guests. The owner was always very helpful and made every effort to accommodate our needs. We slept at the venue itself after the party, which has some very beautiful, clean rooms with a vintage touch that truly conveys the atmosphere of a classic Tuscan villa. The bathrooms are clean and the beds are comfortable.

Beautiful location with a wonderful garden.

Fabrizio is a very kind and helpful host. But be warned, he speaks mostly Italian, so keep Google Translate handy. We spent two wonderful weeks here with another family (4 adults and 4 children in total). The garden is a gift, with a lovely lawn for playing with the kids, and of course, the pool and ping pong table. There are also several seating areas throughout the property, including a large table where you can enjoy breakfast or dinner. By car, you can usually reach charming towns and cities like Siena in 30 minutes.

We contacted the owner of the villa a year before, and he was available right away, together with his wife they take care of the villa and the garden impeccably. The marquee is wonderful, there were 175 of us, in the garden we had an aperitif, cut the cake and celebrated after dinner, there was a magical atmosphere, they even thought of putting lights in the garden to make our day even more beautiful. My husband and I spent the first night there in the villa, in a wonderful apartment! We couldn’t have chosen better!

Fantastic stay, highly recommended for large families

The location is amazing and the house has all the comfort you would want for a large family, we were with 9 adults and 2 small children. The kitchen equipment is sufficient and towels are provided. large shaded spaces for breakfast/dinner and barbecue ready to make fire. The cars are parked under a roof. Super large and clean pool, hot tub and large garden for games. Also offers a ping pong table and a table football. No need to leave the estate, only to do the shopping. Good and large grocery stores nearby. We were all very satisfied and recommend it to everyone. During our stay Italy had a holiday of its own and some restaurants nearby were closed. But it was a good reason to visit some beautiful historical places looking for places to eat, and of course we found many.

Amazing villa to relax with family with a very friendly owner

Very nice villa in a very nice location. The owner (who lives in the other part of the house) is very friendly and does his best to ensure a perfect stay. The pool is great, the garden beautiful and the house renovated in original Tuscan style. A perfect place to stay, if you are looking for some really relaxing days with the family. There is also table tennis, a nice playground for children and some exercise equipment (treadmill, etc.). Siena and Florence within 1h – but we decided to stay only in the villa and the pool, because it was so relaxing to be there!

Fairytale Wedding (Wedding Reception)

Fantastic villa, equipped with everything, it lacks nothing, very kind and helpful owners, what can I say? If you want a fairytale wedding, Villa Portoverde is the right one.. Thank you so much again for everything.

Little gem in the countryside (Wedding Reception)

We chose this location because it is a town hall used for civil ceremonies and because it offers two distinct spaces for the ceremony and reception. Let me explain, the woods behind the villa, usually used as a parking lot, were “customized” to our desire by our wp and its suppliers to become a “wood” in the “woods” where we celebrated the civil ceremony and then our guests simply had to move a few steps to the garden area to continue the celebrations with an aperitif and dinner under the marquee (which the villa is equipped with). For us, everything was perfect and well-kept.
