Fabrizio is a very kind and helpful host. But be warned, he speaks mostly Italian, so keep Google Translate handy. We spent two wonderful weeks here with another family (4 adults and 4 children in total). The garden is a gift, with a lovely lawn for playing with the kids, and of course, the pool and ping pong table. There are also several seating areas throughout the property, including a large table where you can enjoy breakfast or dinner. Amazing villa to relax with family with very friendly owner<\/h4>\n\t

Very nice villa in a very nice location.<\/span><\/span> The owner (who lives in the other part of the house) is very friendly and does his best to ensure you have a perfect stay.<\/span><\/span> The swimming pool is excellent, the garden is beautiful and the house has been renovated in the original Tuscan style.<\/span><\/span> A perfect place to stay if you are looking for some truly relaxing days with the family.<\/span><\/span> There is also table tennis, a nice playground for children and some training equipment (treadmills, etc.).<\/span><\/span> Siena and Florence within 1h – but we decided to stay only in the villa and by the pool, as it was so relaxing to be there!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The villa is situated in a beautiful setting with flowers in bloom, gorgeous plants and vines, and a walnut grove. The pool provided a wonderful family experience when we weren’t traveling. Fabrizio and Sueli are wonderful people and Sueli has a menu that you can order from that provides you with a wonderful Tuscan culinary experience. The surrounding area has spectacular vistas all within a short distance. We rented a car and visited a new village or city every day We enjoyed Foiano della Chiana; it’s people, views, shopping, and it’s food.<\/p>\n

We stayed 10 days in this beautiful Tuscan style villa.<\/span> The swimming pool and garden are large and we spent pleasant and relaxing hours even under the pergola and in the whirlpool.<\/span> The house is spacious, elegant and stylish, the kitchen is fully equipped, we have not lacked anything.<\/span> We also had two bbqs of fabulous Tuscan meat in the garden.<\/span> The area is central and very convenient for visiting the magnificent region of Tuscany.<\/span> We will definitely be back.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Spectacular Villa<\/h4>\n\t

Spectacular villa, very welcoming details taken care of, our group stayed for 4 days in the period of the end of the year. Owner available for every request.
\nGoing in the winter, you lose a 50% of the entire structure, not being able to use the pool and the large garden, but despite this I highly recommend it. The property also offers the possibility of using the sauna and Jacuzzi, as well as table tennis and darts.<\/p>\n

Stunning place to stay, a little dated but the gardens and the pool made up for it, we spent 80% of our time outside Not a lot of local restaurants but some great visits to Pisa , Siena and Florence gave us plenty of options . All in all we had an amazing time at the villa with great friends -great food and wine and amazing weather , highly recommend.<\/p>\n

The villa and gardens were excellent<\/h4>\n\t

My family rented Villa Portoverde (2 adults\/3 children) and it was perfect. We could have easily added another family to join us as there is lots of space. The Villa and grounds were excellently maintained and we took full advantage (Foosball, Bocci, and the pool!). We did our own cooking, but wish we took advantage of Fabrizio’s wife who is a certified Chef – at least for 1 evening. It was very easy to walk to the village, Foiano della Chiana – where we explored the local market, buying fresh breads, fruits & vegetables. With the central location it was very easy to explore other great Tuscan locations (San Gimignano, Montepulciano, and Montalcino). There was so much more within reach, but we decided on a balanced vacation. It was perfect. Like having a resort to yourself. Fabrizio is a great host. He explained things well and was easily available if needed. Thank you Fabrizio<\/p>\n

The time runs so quickly and seems it was yesterday we have returned from the splendid vacation we had at your place in Foiano Della Chiana.
\nI can simply say it was a marvelous vacation in splendid place that I would recommend to anyone that has a big family or group of close friends. The house & It’s beautiful interiors give an excellent comfort & necessary privacy even for a group of 12 people. The veranda & terraces on the ground floor allow any kind of gathering in smaller or bigger groups. The pool and the spacious garden allow perfect relax after the long excursions that are simply a “must” once\u00a0 someone is in Tuscany. Really gorgeous! I’d like to recommend your place to people with kids, since various sport activities available at the villa as well as in near sports complex allow bigger groups to plan their time in perfect harmony with the needs of relax, sightseeing or any other activity at open air.

Dreaming holiday<\/h4>\n\t

My husband and I stayed here for a week with our two daughters. The villa is large with a very nice kitchen and living area on the first floor, two bedrooms and bathroom on second floor (the master bedroom is quite large and has a balcony with a great view of the city), and two bedrooms and bathroom on third floor. The pool and surrounding grounds are gorgeous, which you can see from the pictures. There is a nice seating area outside, and another nice area for eating outside with a long table which will seat many. We enjoyed our dinners here many evenings. The location is very convenient to visiting the area. I highly recommend this property.<\/small><\/p>\n

Our villa stay was magic! The villa itself is really well set up, and the grounds are beautiful. It is a fantastic venue for a group of families. There are 3 different long tables where you can all meet to dine. We used the outdoor one located under the pergola the most. This venue is heaven for kids. With the pool, jacuzzi, sauna fussball, table tennis, badminton etc there was always something to do. Fabrizio & Sueli are the hosts and having them on site was helpful. Neither of them speak much English and we didn’t speak Italian, but that was never an issue. They were always friendly and helpful. Sueli is a trained chef and gave the kids an Italian cooking lesson, which was awesome. I can highly recommend this venue. We all enjoyed our stay and would love to return in the future.<\/small><\/p>\n

The title of this review sums up our wedding, and it’s thanks in part to Villa PortoVerde in Foiano della Chiana. I’d learned about this venue thanks to a dinner they’d organized there, so we contacted the owner, Fabrizio, to evaluate it for our wedding. We immediately found him kind and helpful, so we had no hesitation, and today we’re truly happy. The villa was super tidy and clean. Despite its simplicity, it remains extremely elegant. The garden is very large and allowed us to have a wonderful aperitif. The covered structure allowed us to eat comfortably. All our guests complimented us. We chose Villa Porto Verde as the venue for our wedding on September 6, 2025. We must say it was a truly excellent choice. The villa was meticulously designed down to the smallest detail, taking on an even more magical atmosphere as evening falls. The play of light in the garden, the pool, everything was meticulously crafted, from the lawn to the statues and fountains.<\/span><\/span> It was ideal for a summer wedding. We dined in the (very large) outdoor marquee and took advantage of the enormous garden to dance and party all night.<\/span><\/span> It has ample parking for our guests.<\/span><\/span> The owner was always very helpful and made every effort to accommodate our needs.<\/span><\/span> We slept at the venue itself after the party, which has some very beautiful, clean rooms with a vintage touch that truly conveys the atmosphere of a classic Tuscan villa. We chose this location because it is a town hall used for civil ceremonies and because it offers two distinct spaces for the ceremony and reception. Beautiful place a stone’s throw from Foiano, large garden with swimming pool, very well kept and suitable for receptions such as weddings.<\/span> There is a covered and closable tensile structure on the sides, with a capacity of about 250 people.<\/span> Ample parking, kitchen for external catering and a small playground for children.<\/span> Excellent quality – price.<\/span> Our guests enjoyed the location very much.<\/span> We were fully satisfied, and highly recommend it!<\/span>

We got married on August 5, 2017 and the location choice was more than adequate!<\/span> The Villa is located in a strategic position, it offers a lot of space, beauty and attention to details.<\/span> It is well organized for this kind of event, even in the case of rain.<\/span> The owner is professional and available to suit the needs.<\/span> I recommend to all this place not only for a wedding but also for other parties.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
